Tire YouthHub The graduation project studio mainly aims at experiencing an architectural problem that is functionally, conceptually, contextually and structurally complex, in a remarkable urban context. This semester, this studio unit’s task will be “designing a YouthHub ni Tire City Center”. This task mainly has three interrelated challenges:
The given project area includes one registered historic building Lütfü Pasa (Mathius) Inn which will be restored and re-functionalized as a boutique hotel by Tire Municipality. However, the historical building, and the potential voids around them, may have a strong potential to be a landmark in the city center. One of the aims of this studio project is to reveal this potential and discuss the urban contributions of Lütfü Pasa Inn to the social life in Tire City Center.
Because of the given architectural program, students will design new voids and structures on the given site. The relationship between the new structure and the historic building will be one of the most important topics of the studio.
Tire is a very big town with a population of 100.000 people; and the young population in the city center needs socialization spaces, which can be a generator for Tire. Development and implementation of the architectural program of the YouthHub specific to future visions of Tire will be another challenge for the studio. Integration of the concepts of technology, arts, sustainability, and circularity into the projects was encouraged by the studio instructor team.

Tire YouthHub Mezuniyet projesi stüdyosu temel olarak işlevsel, kavramsal, bağlamsal ve yapısal olarak karmaşık bir mimari sorunu dikkate değer bir kentsel bağlamda deneyimlemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu dönem, bu stüdyo biriminin görevi “Tire Şehir Merkezi için bir YouthHub tasarlamak” olacaktır. Bu görevin temel olarak birbiriyle ilişkili üç zorluğu vardır:
Söz konusu proje alanı, Tire Belediyesi tarafından restore edilerek butik otel olarak yeniden işlevlendirilecek olan tescilli tarihi Lütfü Paşa (Mathius) Han binasından oluşmaktadır. Ancak, tarihi yapı ve etrafındaki potansiyel boşluklar, şehir merkezinde bir dönüm noktası olma potansiyeline sahip olabilir. Bu stüdyo projesinin amaçlarından biri de bu potansiyeli ortaya çıkarmak ve Lütfü Paşa Hanı’nın Tire Kent Merkezi’ndeki sosyal yaşama kentsel katkılarını tartışmaktır.
Verilen mimari program nedeniyle, öğrenciler verilen alanda yeni boşluklar ve yapılar tasarlayacaklardır. Yeni yapı ile tarihi yapı arasındaki ilişki, stüdyonun en önemli konularından biri olacak.
Tire, 100.000 nüfuslu çok büyük bir ilçe; kent merkezindeki genç nüfusun ise Tire’ye jeneratör olabilecek sosyalleşme alanlarına ihtiyacı var. YouthHub’ın Tire’nin gelecek vizyonlarına özel mimari programının geliştirilmesi ve uygulanması, stüdyo için başka bir zorluk olacak. Teknoloji, sanat, sürdürülebilirlik ve döngüsellik kavramlarının projelere entegrasyonu stüdyo eğitmen ekibi tarafından teşvik edildi.
