PROJECT DESCRIPTION / PROJE TANIMI

The existing furniture “Dove Tail Stool” was designed by Staffan Holm in 2019. The original design consists of six pieces in total, combined with Finger Joint and dowel details. In our ReDesign project, we designed three legs, a seat part, and a lower part. The legs are attached to the seat part using a male-female joint system, while the lower part plays a role in locking the entire system and increasing the durability. As a result, we have provided a new production alternative to the original design without compromising its existing design and without giving the product a new identity.

Mevcut mobilya “Dove Tail Stool” 2019 yılında Tasarımcı Staffan Holm tarafından tasarlanmıştır. Orijinal tasarım toplamda altı parçadan oluşup Finger Joint ve kavela detayları ile birleştirilmiştir. ReDesign projemizde ise üç ayak, bir tabla ve bir alt tabla bulunuyor. Ayaklar üst tablaya erkek-dişi geçme sistemi ile takılırken, alt tabla ise bütün sistemi kilitleyen ve dayanıklılığını arttıran bir görev üstleniyor. Ortaya çıkan üründe ise mevcut tasarımı bozmadan ve ürüne yeni bir kimlik tanımlamadan orijinal tasarıma yeni bir üretim alternatifi getirmiş oluyoruz.
