PROJECT DESCRIPTION / PROJE TANIMI

The objective of the project is to create a sensory home specifically tailored to meet the needs of Leyla Ak, an occupational therapist, and her son Fırat Ak, who experiences mild autism symptoms. In order to accommodate the family’s private life, Leyla’s professional work, and enhance Fırat’s quality of life, this micro living space encompasses a sensory room and sensory garden, both designed on a small scale. The intention behind this design is to create an environment that not only caters to the family’s personal needs but also facilitates the sensory experiences of Fırat.

Proje, ergoterapist ve uzman psikolog Leyla Ak ve silik otizm belirtileri gösteren oğlu Fırat Ak için bir duyu evi tasarlamayı amaçlamaktadır. Silik otizmde karşılaşılan sıcaklık, renk vb. durumlara duyulan hassasiyet göz önünde bulundurularak ailenin mahrem yaşantısına, annenin mesleki çalışmalarına uygun ve aynı zamanda oğlunun hassas yaşamını kolaylaştırmaya yönelik duyu odası ve duyu bahçesi mekanları küçük ölçekte çözülerek bu iki kullanıcı için bir mikro yaşam alanı tasarlanmıştır.
