PROJECT DESCRIPTION / PROJE TANIMI

The design of the project combines the past and the future with a concept inspired by bridges, and its main idea is stated as the “Convergence of Experience and Youth”. The new function added to the historic building involves skilled craftsmen passing on their knowledge to the new generation eager to learn their trade. The intervention in the historic building has led to the creation of new workspaces and offices, while workshop and exhibition areas have been designed through the addition of new structures and textile applications to the space.

Projenin tasarımı geçmişle geleceği birleştiren ve köprüden ilham alan bir konseptle birleştmekte, ana fikri “Tecrübe ve gençliğin buluşması” olarak belirtilmektedir.. Tarihi yapıya kazandırılan yeni işlev, usta zanatkarların mesleği öğrenmek isteyen yeni nesillere bilgilerini aktarmasını içermektedir. Tarihi yapıya yapılan müdahalelerle yeni çalışma alanları ve ofisler tasarlanmış, mekana yeni eklenen strüktür ve teksil kullanımlarıyla atölye ve sergi alanları oluşturulmuştur.
